Renze Chiropractic Clinic, P.C., has been providing chiropractic care to Ankeny and the surrounding communities since June 2002. Since opening, we have acquired nearly 7,000 patients and continue to grow each year. The clinic was founded by Dr. Christopher Renze. Dr. Renze was born and raised in Carroll, Iowa, where he graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School. Dr. Renze then pursued his goal to become a chiropractor by attending Kirkwood Community College, University of Iowa, and Palmer College of Chiropractic. After graduating with magna cum laude honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Renze successfully completed a three-year, post-graduate specialty program in clinical neurology through New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Renze is one of only about five chiropractors in Iowa who are board-certified in clinical neurology.
Renze Chiropractic Clinic, P.C., was designed to be patient centered. Our goal is, and will always be, to provide patients with an accurate diagnosis and offer safe and effective treatment options. Just as a skilled carpenter would have numerous tools for his trade, our clinic is outfitted with some of the most current state-of-the-art treatments to effectively treat numerous conditions. Dr. Renze is certified in multiple hands-on and low-force techniques to accommodate everyone from newborn infants with ear infections and colic to the professional athletes wanting to enhance their performance. We also treat elderly patients who suffer from arthritis, degenerative joint/disc disease, and sciatica.
Our clinic uses a logical, commonsense approach to eliminating or reducing pain. Each case is evaluated on an individual basis, and treatment is tailored to each patient’s specific condition and treatment goals. Because each patient’s case is unique, we do not prescribe to an assembly-line, cookie-cutter approach. All appointments are scheduled specifically for each patient, and we allow ample time to take a thorough history and perform a detailed examination. We will then provide the patient with a recommended treatment, the anticipated length of treatment, and how much it will cost. We do not routinely take x-rays; however, we will do so if a specific case warrants further clarity or if a more sinister pathology needs to be ruled out.
On occasion, a patient will present to our office with a condition that is clearly not a chiropractic case. In those situations, we will refer the patient to the appropriate specialist or assist in deciding what course of action to take next.
Our office participates with and will file insurance claims on the patient’s behalf to multiple insurance companies. We do not participate with HMO plans in which care is dictated by a third party. For patients without insurance or with insurance in which we do not participate, our office has an affordable pay-as-you-go rate. Many times, this rate is actually less than the co-pays patients currently pay for services at an in-network office!
If you are struggling with pain and have not found the relief for which you are looking, consider scheduling an appointment with our office. We may be able to help!
